Vide SRO 1401(I)/2012 dated 30th November

Vide SRO 1401(I)/2012 dated 30th November, 2012 certain amendments have been made in SRO 655(I)/2006 dated 22nd June, 2006. Rate of customs duty on import of sub-assemblies by vendors of M/cycles has been reduced from 20% to 15% for a period of one year. Rate of customs duty on import of components by vendors of M/cycles has been reduced from 10% to 7.5% for a period of one year.

Vide SRO 1402(I)/2012 dated 30th November, 2012 certain amendments have been made in SRO 656(I)/2006 dated 22nd June, 2006. Rate of customs duty on import of components for assembly/ manufacture of M/cycles by OEM in any kit form has been reduced from 15% to 10% for a period of one year.

Vide SRO 1404(I)/2012 dated 30th November, 2012 rate of customs duty on import of CBU M/cycles and their components for assembly/manufacture of M/cycle in kit form has been reduced from 65% to 57.5% for a period of one year.
