Amendments in SRO 482(1)/2009 pertaining to regulatory duty on luxury/non-essential goods

• Vide SRO 556(I)/2017 dated 01.07.2017 Federal Government with the approval of Minister in Charge has made amendments in SRO 482(I)/2009 dated 13.06.2014 (Regulatory duty on Luxury/non-essential goods). Through these amendments following changes are made:-

1. Regulatory duty on ceramic tiles falling under heading 6908.1000 and 6908.9010 has been withdrawn. Simultaneously, regulatory duty on these goods at the same rates is imposed under SRO 568(I)/2014 dated 26.06.2014.
2. Exemption of regulatory duty on hybrid vehicles falling under PCT headings subject to RD has been withdrawn.
3. Certain PCT headings are corrected to implement new Tariff Structure
